The strength of our brand at the 浪花直播 is extremely important because it is the essence of who we are as an institution. Our brand is shaped by the combination of interactions, experiences, feelings and perceptions related to the university. Everything we do at the university, from our actions to verbal and written communications, shapes our brand. It is imperative that every communication initiative consistently, accurately and effectively tells UCM鈥檚 story.
A strong and coherent visual identity is one piece of a strong brand. The university
as a whole benefits when we all use consistent design and editorial standards. Individual
offices and departments also benefit from a strong association with the university鈥檚
identity. When all offices, departments, programs and centers adhere to branding standards,
it strengthens our overall brand by demonstrating our unity as an institution. The
more consistent the brand, the more recognizable and memorable it becomes.
The brand guidelines linked below will help you understand UCM鈥檚 style, tone and voice. We encourage you to use these tools to maintain and increase our visibility as an esteemed institution of learning where access, affordability, completion and student success are our strategic goals.
The resources on this webpage also provide basic guidelines for implementing the marks
that represent the university in its communications. While these guidelines cover
many scenarios, they cannot address every possible situation. If you have questions
about using these resources or the logos and marks described within, please contact
the Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) at 660-543-4640.
IMC is responsible for the university's integrated marketing and strategic communications. We collaborate with campus partners to advance the university's mission through clear, consistent, and professional communications. Our staff meets with campus stakeholders to identify key creative concepts, messaging and target audiences, ensuring that marketing and communication goals are achieved and all deliverables align with the university's brand standards. IMC also ensures the correct use and integrity of the signature, seal and other logos on all university publications and materials, whether produced by the university or outside agencies.
The marketing toolkit portal provides access to a variety of digital materials designed to help jumpstart projects whenever you need to develop documents in-house. While IMC is always happy to work on your marketing materials, we realize there are times when you have a quick deadline that we cannot meet due to time constraints. IMC created these tools to meet that need and aid in producing brand-consistent documents.
In the marketing toolkit, you will find templates for digital signage, email signatures,
email headers, fliers, newsletters, posters and PowerPoint presentations, plus virtual
meeting backgrounds.
